Phishing is a form of cybercrime in which someone deceives another person into opening a malicious link (URL) or email that appears to be safe and trustworthy. This is done in the hope that the person will then enter sensitive information – usernames, passwords, banking details – which are then used by the perpetrator to gain access to that person’s other accounts and/or steal their money.

We strongly encourage our members to approach any received links or other communications with caution and take time to ensure it’s from a reputable and/or trustworthy source. If still in doubt, don’t click it.
